Inviting Users
A step by step task list for how to invite users to Mustard.
Mustard Admins
Mustard admins have complete, 360 access to all mustard features and accounts.
They can create, manage and delete/destroy entities from the Mustard database.
Mustard admins must first have an existing Mustard user account.
A new user can sign up to create a Mustard account using the following page: https://mustard.app/a/signup
Once they have created account, they will show in the Users page within the Mustard panel.
Only an existing Mustard admin can view this page, and therefore only an existing Mustard admin change make an existing user an admin.
Use the search and filters to find the user account.
Select the admin checkbox beside the user's details to make them an admin.
Organisation Team Members
Organisation team members can only access the recruiter features of the specific subdomain they are a team member for.
They can also become candidates or team members elsewhere, and can even become Mustard admins with the same account if allowed.
Navigate to the organisation page of the Mustard panel.
Select the organisation you would like to invite users to, and navigate to the Team tab.
Use the invites and "Add New" buttons to invite a new user by email address.
Choose which permissions you would like this user to have. (Note: Allowing them to manage the account and employees means they will be able to invite other team members and control their permissions, as well as the accounts appearance.)
Click the save button to send the invite.
The invitee will then receive an email containing an access token specific to this account and their user permissions. They can choose to sign in with an existing Mustard account from another organisation or create a new account.
Organisation Team Members with employee management permissions can perform the same steps from within their organisation's recruiter view, without needing access to the panel.
Organisation Candidates
Organisation candidates can signup using the /a/signup URL path. This feature will only be available for organisations assigned marketplace permissions.
There is currently no automated way for candidates who sign up to claim agreements created for them by the organisation. However, using the candidate review feature, a candidate can access and control the data used to prepare their styled resume.
Send the candidate the signup URL - subdomain.mustard.app/a/signup
The candidate should create an account.
The candidate should then follow the onboarding steps if present.
The assist mode will be turned on automatically to encourage the candidate to complete their profile.
